What is FastForm 1307?
Why We Developed FastForm 1307
Various laws and regulations - the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the Government Paperwork Elimination Act of 1998, and Army Regulation AR 25-1 and its associated implementation just to name a few - have mandated the expanded use of digitized records and digital record-keeping for all branches of the military. The DA 1307 Individual Jump Log is a prime example where digitizing records can increase efficiency, accuracy, and individual proficiency, as well as overall readiness.
Nearly all branches of the military depend on the DA 1307 Individual Jump Log to maintain an accurate record of an individual warfighter’s parachute jumps. DA 1307 records are used to ensure proficiency and determine eligibility for hazardous duty pay, certifications, and awards. Retaining accurate DA 1307 logs can prevent delay or disruption in pay, as well as prevent potential clawback of jump pay.
FastForm 1307 leverages the accurate digital manifesting from FastForm 1306 by importing its jump manifests into a database for maintaining and generating individuals’ DA 1307 jump logs. Using FastForm 1306, a jumpmaster automatically generates and emails the requisite information for FastForm 1307 while manifesting each jump. The recipient of the data file then imports it into FastForm 1307, and the records are immediately available to generate an individual’s up-to-date DA 1307. All you need to begin using FastForm 1307 is a PC with Microsoft Access already installed.
